Velva Container Flooring plywood is manufactured using thin layers of fully matured hardwood that are stacked together and bonded using synthetic phenolic resin under heat and pressure. The resulting product is highly durable and able to withstand cracking, shrinking, twisting, and warping. Typically, the standard flooring for shipping containers is marine hardwood plywood made from apitong, keruing, eucalyptus which has a thickness of 28mm. This type of plywood is occasionally varnished and treated for a plain finish.
