Quatro Cycle Advantage

The Quatro cycle process is inherited by us from the Global International Standards and after stringent R&D and quality checks for two years. The technology now aptly addresses the Indian market requirements. Quatro cycle Advantage is the latest in the plywood industry in India. The Quatro cycle process actually drives every composed bundle of wood veneers under 4 times pressing zone, that is very unique and first time in India. Quatro cycle Advantage offers ‘Absolute bonding, Absolute flatness, Absolute dimensional stability and Absolute durability’.

Fire-Safe Technology

This Fire-Safe technology makes a select range of Velva plywood highly effective for fire- fighting purposes. This range has been certified as the most superior fire-safe plywood and possesses critical properties that can be advantageous during fire accidents. These properties include the ability to impede the spread of fire, not aiding in its rapid burning or propagation, self-extinguishing once the source of fire is eliminated, and emitting minimal smoke to prevent suffocation

Both Side Calibrated Panel

All panels manufactured at the Velva Facility are made using the Mat Ply Process. After the second stage of pressing, the thickness tolerance of the Mat Panels within each plywood sheet is reduced. Following this, every Velva plywood sheet undergoes further calibration on both sides using a surface sanding machine, resulting in a thickness tolerance reduction within each panel.

Made with Mat Ply Process

Velva offers panels that use the Matply process, where all layers are joined using core composer to increase strength and durability. This allows for easy customization by enabling users to add their preferred top layer to create a finished product that is customized for their  intended use. These panels are highly suitable for applications in kitchens and furniture

Borer & Termite Proof

Velva products possess a strong ability to repel termites due to both natural and synthetic factors. The natural factor stems from Velva’s preference for utilizing the heartwood of mature hardwood timber, which naturally resists termites and borers. As the heartwood is the oldest and hardest central part of a tree, it possesses inherent termite resistance. On the synthetic side, Velva’s manufacturing technology enables the uniform injection of chemicals that repel termites. Moreover, the product’s layers of lamination create robust barriers that effectively prevent termite intrusion.

BWP & BWR Grade

BWP plywood is an acronym for Boiling Water Proof and represents the most advanced level of waterproofing for plywood. This grade of plywood can endure extended exposure to water and moisture, making it ideal for applications where protection against water is essential. On the other hand, BWR plywood stands for Boiling Water Resistant and is commonly used for exterior purposes. It can also withstand long periods of water exposure, making it an ideal choice for kitchen cabinets and washrooms.

8x4 Feet Core Panel

Using 8×4 panels minimizes the wastage of both glue and core material. In manual production, the core is typically made with a five-inch margin on either side, while the automated machine only allows for an additional two inches beyond the actual size of the plywood. The automated process results in a more precise finish, without any overlaps or gaps

Viro-Safe

VelvaPly’s Viro-Safe technology utilizes a Nano tech based Self Remedying Surface Treatment to provide complete safety protection against microorganisms, safeguarding your furniture against 99.99% of viruses. The plywood is manufactured with a specially designed mechanism that contains anti-body pathogens, which are naturally Anti-Microbial, Anti-Fungal, Anti- Bacterial, and Anti-Viral.
