Velva Film-face shuttering ply
Velva offers a composite construction solution with their mirror finish film face shuttering plywood, which is designed to withstand the corrosive effects of cement, water, and sunlight, as well as the distortions caused by outdoor weather conditions. This type of plywood is made from carefully selected hardwood plantation veneers that have been treated with specially manufactured phenolic resin to improve their durability and performance. The surface of the shuttering plywood is covered with a 180 gsm Phenol Impregnated Film, and the sides are sealed with acrylic paint to prevent moisture absorption and swelling. Velva completes the entire manufacturing process, including the production of veneers, resins, film, and densified plates, in-house using advanced technology.
